Re: filling up at a gas station?

WHen I hit reserve, I just go home, throw a cup of gas in my 2 gallon tank, toss it in my backpack, and drive three blocks to the gas station, fill it up, shake the hell out of it and fill up the tank.

I’ve never mixed in the tank, but mostly that’s because I don’t carry oil with me, and I don’t have any place to go that’s too far to get home on my reserve.

Mixing in the tank seems risky. I’m sure you can get away with it, but I am known as the ever-paranoid one.
