No, it just means that the stock cylinder head (the part that the spark plug threads into) will work on the cylinder, which is what the bog bore kit is, just the cylinder usually. and use the stock carburetor/intake manifold. What kit are you looking at? May I suggest checking out TreatsHQ ? Beji is the best. Do some research to determine what kit works best for you.
It seems to me that you are comparing a moped engine to a car engine. The cylinder is completly removeable, no modification is needed to be done on the block with almost all kits, the exceptions being the 74cc and up.
