If you are just going into a store or fast food place, there really is no safe way to park/lock it. Park it where there are a lot of people, out in the open, and run a chain or cable through both wheels. If you are talking about parking it at work or school, where it will be there all day, invest in a cover, and park it in a regular parking spot. A cover is probably a better theft deterrent than locks and alarms, especially if it is parked in a highly visible place. People don’t tend to mess with things they can’t see.
