I’ve tried this lately too, and it’s certainly faster than the search engine on here. However, it also makes it a lot harder to find relevant material because you only get maybe 3 words of the actual post—most of the info it shows is user name and IP address and date and stuff that doesn’t answer the question. (If there’s a way to get around that, someone tell me now!)

This technique is also good for searching craigslist for those of you who haven’t seen the other posts revealing this “secret.” One thing though (and maybe this is just me)—remove the www. part when searching craigslist. If I search craigslist.org for puch moped I get 121 hits. If I make that www.craigslist.org, I get 1 hit. Doesn’t seem to make a difference for mopedarmy, and maybe it’s just me and my computer, but yeah…
