Pinto Petcocks - No straight answers!

So my petcock has been leaking for a couple years. Last year I put on a seperate inline fuel valve, but between that and the fuel filter, it’s just too much crap hanging between my tank and carb. I want a new petcock.

But even after asking and listening for answers for the past couple years, I still don’t know what the deal is with Pinto petcocks . . .

Here’s what I know –
Maxi petcocks will fit, but the handle will be pointing the wrong way—nuts to that.

Magnum petcocks are too big.

Apparently PA50 petcocks work, but I’ve never even seen one of those, much less found one for sale.

The Wiki says Tomos petcocks will work, but according to various parts stores, there are different types. Which one is compatible with the Pinto?

Which petcock can I use to replace the original that won’t look like it doesn’t belong there?
