ah…the legalities of ownership/possession law…they always make for an interesting case.

look up your state laws on possession and abandonment and proceed as your gut tells you. possession is always debatable if given even just a lil room for another party to argue. if you take a moped thats clearly abandoned…just give it a makeover so it doesn’t resemble the former look…thus avoiding a possible dispute from another person.
