Re: weird exhaust question

I once made a really neat device which allowed the air to travel straight through the baffle. It was a nut with a couple long arms on it which held the baffle in place, but the air could go straigt out instead of turning sideways to go through the holes.

You were right to Drill another hole in the baflle. It will help. But if youre not going to change jet, or intake, just put a nut on it, and call it good. it will add a little performance. But if you leave it open, not only wil the entire muffler fall off, but it can actually decrease performance. Until you upjet, and get a bigger intake that is.
