ok buddy,
heres the deal. This forum is kind of solely about older style mopeds. They are fairly reliable but do need consistent maintenance to keep them running day in day out.
If you want a MOPED (not scooter!) as a commuter, I would suggest get a Tomos. They are still being manufactured and will have better customer service if you do need it (spare parts, repairs, warranty!).
They are equipped with the latest and greatest and will be probably the best option if you want a comfortable reliable commuter.
Scooters are things of a different nature and we do not deal with them here. www.scooterbbs.com will better suite your needs if you are looking for one of those.
