First off.. Thank you so much for responding so quick and spidge for the great pics! Definitely going to help!

so leaving the top screw in place helps to keep the spring from flying off inside the tranny case? I’m guessing it wouldn’t be fun to try and fish it out of there…

when going to put it all back together.. what is the best way to compress the spring to get it back in place? and does the cover need any type of sealant?

also.. do you think putting a small rubber gasket around the cable case would help stop the leaking problem? or maybe high temp puddy? (or silicone if it doesnt get too hot, which it probably does).

I’ll give it a shot this weekend! Can’t wait!
