Honestly, I love this idea… but if you were going for such a classy looking custom why not take the extra time?!
Fill in the holes in the fenders that you don’t need, maybe patch in some of the old body lines, maybe back-fill the recess in the Magnum tank to give it an old Honda flat-side look so you have a clean place to mount a badge.
Just little stuff… that and it’s too…. school-bus-y? I don’t know.
I love it though… I’ve got the same plans mapped out for an old bike I’ve got… great minds!
