Honestly, i TRY to buy American,being a Union member and all, but when things are so cost prohibitive to where i either have to do WITHOUT or buy Asian made, I give in and buy the Asian made.
Examples: What’s a set of deep-well 1/2” drive impact sockets(say 7/16”- 7/8”) cost if made by MAC or Craftsman? Pretty high,eh?
But a set of them from China are less than 15 bucks.
Now if I were working on cars for a LIVING and used them under a lot of strain, I’d pay triple or more and get the good ones. don-ohio
